POOLE-BORN skier Andrew Musgrave ended his five-year wait for a Cross-Country World Cup podium finish, taking third in Beitostolen, Norway.
The four-time Olympian finished behind home pair Paal Goldberg and Didrik Toenseth in the 10km classic.
It leaves the 32-year-old sixth in the overall World Cup standings, having finished fifth in Ruka on the opening weekend of the World Cup season and fourth place in Lillehammer.
The next nearest Brit is Andrew Young, down in 53rd.
Competitors will now head to Davos in Switzerland for the next events in the World Cup calendar this weekend.
Musgrave recorded the best ever finish by a British athlete in Olympic cross-country skiing at Pyeongchang 2018, by finishing seventh in the skiathlon.
Having been born in Dorset, he has since lived in places such as Shetland and Alaska.
