SCOTT Mitchell will head to Milton Keynes later this week, looking to win back his PDC Tour Card.
The Bransgore thrower has spent the past two years on the lucrative circuit, qualifying to play in the World Championship in December 2021.
However, a poor 2022 saw Mitchell fail to seal a spot in the top 64 of the rankings, meaning he lost his spot on the tour for 2023.
There are two separate Q Schools running this year, one in Milton Keynes for UK-based players and one in Germany.
Both began today, with many Dorset players involved, but 2015 Lakeside champion Mitchell is one of 24 players to receive a pass through to begin competing from Thursday, in the final stages.
From the field of more than 850 across both venues, there are 27 Tour Cards up for grabs.
