HARRY Wyatt has good reason to declare that life is good at the moment.
The 13-year-old from Ferndown made his maiden century of 103 in the Joe Perry Under-21 Super Series in Newbury.
Nine days later he won the seventh leg of the Cuestars Under-21 Silver Tour at Woking Snooker Centre.
And next month he flies out to Malta for his debut in the European Under-16 Championship.
Wyatt, who agreed that hitting three figures “boosted me a little bit”, did not drop a single frame all day in Woking and defeated 10-year-old William Thomson of Chandler’s Ford 2-0 in the final.
“I started the day off a little bit shaky,” he said.
“But I picked it up as the day went along and ended up playing all right at the end.”
Turning to the knockout, he added: “I had Samuel (Laxton), a very good match-player. Asten (Sahota), who’s really good. And William, another great player. So I had to work quite hard.”
Laxton remains top of the rankings but the 18-year-old from Portsmouth had his lead cut to two points after losing 2-0 to Wyatt in the last eight. Sahota (Southampton) is second.
Fareham Snooker Club hosts the eighth leg of 10 on Sunday, March 12.
Meanwhile, Bradley Cowdroy (Bournemouth) remains in second place on the Gold Tour after losing 2-1 to Connor Benzey (Eastleigh) in the semi-finals.
