DORSET duo Scott Mitchell and Tommy Morris helped England to victory in the annual Tri Nations British Internatioanls tournament.
Mitchell, a regular England competitor, was joined by a Dorset teammate for the first time in Christchurch’s Morris for the competition at Golden Palm Resort in Skegness.
England’s men, a 12-strong team captained by James Hurrell, emerged victorious 8-4 in both their matches, against Scotland and Wales.
Other players involved included the likes of Paul Hogan and James Richardson.
Against Scotland, Morris marked his England debut with 4-1 win over Alan Small, before Mitchell repeated the trick against Nicky Denoon, averaging 96.66, the highest of anyone on the day.
Morris was then edged out 4-3 by Cavan Phillips against Wales, having trailed 3-0, before Mitchell eased to a 4-2 victory over Sean Fisher.
Dorset are looking well-placed for promotion into the top tier of county darts, sitting top of the Championship with two matches remaining.
