NEW Milton talent Carla Rudkin-Guillen has been crowned British champion for the second consecutive year.
The teenager, who trains at the Southern England Karate Federation under the guidance of ex-England professional Collin Rudkin, travelled to Scotland for the British Championships.
Rudkin-Guillen emerged triumphant in Motherwell in the female junior category, for those aged 16 and 17, beating Ruby Rees in the final.
This success follows a gold medal at the Hungarian Tatami Cup earlier this year in Budapest, with Rudkin-Guillen now turning her focus to her GCSE exams.
