SOUTHERN League duo Wimborne Town and Poole Town have both progressed through to the second qualifying round of the FA Cup.
Tim Sills’s Magpies made the trip to Tiverton Town, coming away 1-0 winners thanks to a late Harry Baker goal.
Poole meanwhile had a safer passage, easing past lower league Barnstaple Town 3-0 with Jack Dickson, Wes Fogden and Tony Lee all on target.
Seeking a fourth away win on the spin, Wimborne had to work hard to get the better of Tiverton in Devon.
The injury-hit squad showed just four substitutes on the bench, while Bert White came in in goal in one of three changes to the team.
Jack Lovell headed an early chance over the bar for the Magpies in an end-to-end opening.
Wimborne were forced into a change during the first half with Billy Walker replacing Sam Roberts.
White was called into his first action to thwart River Allen past the half-hour mark, before the impressive Matty Neale helped set up an attack for Baker, who shot wide as the first half passed goalless.
Chances continued to flow at both ends, Tivvy mounting pressure as they sensed a home victory.
But Magpies’ defence held firm, allowing them to nick a win deep into added time. A Tiverton clearance hit his own man, falling kindly for Baker just outside the box, who fired home.
Poole took an early lead against Barnstaple at BlackGold Stadium, Dickson firing in from 20 yards.
Lee missed a good chance to double the advantage in an entertaining contest, Alefe Santos also missing an opportunity.
But Dolphins were 2-0 up by half-time, Fogden converting from Luke Nippard’s cross.
Lee’s had a couple more efforts well saved, before finally getting on the scoresheet in the dying moments.
Elsewhere, Shaftesbury were knocked out, losing 3-1 at Reading City, while Bashley were beaten 5-3 at Mousehole.
Poole and Wimborne collect £2,250 for their wins and take their place in Monday’s draw.
