BOURNEMOUTH slumped to a resounding 69-14 loss at early Regional 1 South Central leaders Havant.
After promising early signs from the Lions, a penalty in front of the posts got Havant up and running on their 4G pitch.
A forward pass thwarted the visitors from a good position in reply, but they did level up through a Grant Hancox kick.
Havant then found a gap to score under the posts before storming clear at 29-6 by half-time.
Lions were getting some joy with their scrums, but it was the hosts who got the early score in the second period.
The visitors finally got their first try of the afternoon, launching a counter-attack which eventually led to a lineout. From there, Ryan Morrell unleashed a burst of speed to bring the score back to 41-14.
But that would be as good as it got as Havant piled on the pressure to add to their lead, winning by 55 points.
Lions sit 11th in the 12-team table and host Tunbridge Wells on Saturday at Chapel Gate.
Lions: Hogan, Taylor, Wayman, Hancox, Morrell, Costello, Moore; Palmer, Harding, Turner, Heath, Tremlett, Savage, Kimber, Durkin.
Reps: Palmer, Vincent, Allum.
