PROMOTER Ben Shalom is looking forward to next month’s return to Bournemouth, insisting it has “turned into one of our favourite places to visit”.
Thanks to the exploits of Chris Billam-Smith, BOXXER is set for its fourth south coast show in the space of 18 months on December 10.
Just a handful of tickets remain as hometown favourite Billam-Smith puts his WBO cruiserweight title on the line against Mateusz Masternak at the BIC.

He became world champion with victory over Lawrence Okolie at Vitality Stadium in May, following stunning displays to beat both Isaac Chamberlain and Armend Xhoxhaj at the BIC in 2022.
“From our very first visit to Bournemouth, we’ve been blown away by what has turned out to be one of the best sets of fans in the country,” said BOXXER chief executive Shalom.
“The atmosphere at our three prior Bournemouth events has been unbelievable, it’s turned into one of our favourite places to visit.
“Chris Billam-Smith draws so much pride and motivation from the support he gets from his hometown fans, it’s just incredible to witness.
“We can’t wait to hear and see it again on December 10 when he defends his world championship for the first time on his home turf.”
