DORSET’S finest darters missed out on a PDC tour card after coming up short at Q School .
Scott Mitchell, Robbie Martin, and Tommy Morris all made it through the round of 128 on the final day of Q-School, only to be knocked out in the round of 64.
Carl Beattie was knocked out at the first hurdle 6-4 by Scotland’s Stuart Wares.
Beattie, Martin and Morris all advanced through the first stages of Q School.
All four players entered the fourth and last day of the final stage knowing that their chances of a place on the pro tour hinged on winning the event.
Former WDF world champion Mitchell was the only Dorset-based darts flinger to pick up a point on the order of merit.
Scotty Dog had last won a two-year tour card for the pro tour back in 2021 via Q School.
