THE Dorset Senior Cup quarter-final between Poole Town and Wimborne Town will no longer take place at BlackGold Stadium.
Dolphins are facing fixture congestion due to issues with their pitch at Tatnam Farm caused by recent persistent rainfall.
James Ellis’s side did complete Saturday’s home game against Walton & Hersham, losing 3-1, and were due to welcome Wimborne on Tuesday.
But the game will now instead be played at the Magpies’ New Cuthbury, on their 3G surface (7.30pm).
A statement from Poole read: “Due to the heavy state of the pitch and the need for it to be in good condition for our future league games, we have had approval from the Dorset County FA, and from Wimborne, to reverse the fixture.”
Dolphins say they will be fielding a side “with many under-23s” for the cup clash.
