DORSET County Cricket Club have discovered their opponents for the 2024 National Counties season.
Luke Webb’s men will tackle all three formats of the game, beginning with T20 before switching to one-day cricket and ending the summer with the three-day red ball game.
Dorset will be hoping to better their 2023 effort in the T20 Cup, where they were pipped into second as the qualification place went to group winners Cornwall.
The two sides meet again in 2024, along with Devon and Wiltshire in the four-team Group Five.
Dorset visit Cornwall on Sunday, May 5 at Wadebridge, either side of hosting Wiltshire and Devon at Wimborne on April 28 and Monday, May 6.
On the Sunday directly after the T20 campaign ends, Dorchester plays host to Dorset’s first NCCA Trophy 50-over match against Cheshire in Group Four.
Dorset wait until June for their next three matches on consecutive Sundays as Hertfordshire welcome them to Welwyn Garden City on Sunday, June 2.
Wales then come to Wimborne on the 9th, before Wiltshire await Webb’s men in Warminster on the 16th.
In the NCCA Championship, Dorset open at Shropshire on Sunday, July 7 before hosting Wiltshire on July 14 at Wimborne.
Dorset travel to Ebbw Vale to face Wales on the 28th, then return to Wimborne to finish their campaign on Sunday, August 11 against Herefordshire in Western Division Two.
