POOLE Netball Club star Sascha Dale helped England successfully defend their Europe Under-17 Championship title.
St Peter’s School pupil Dale, 15, received her first cap at U17 level at the tournament in Gibraltar.
England stormed past all challengers, with wins over Republic of Ireland (81-14), United Arab Emirates (74-30), Wales (79-34) and Scotland (60-34) to clinch the title.
Dale, who plays at wing attack and centre, moved to Bournemouth from Essex with her family in 2010 and is a member of both Poole NC and Team Bath.
Dale was tempted into netball by her schoolfriends after trying other sports and never looked back.
During her time with the Poole Diamonds, they have won national titles, coached by Hayley Peyman.
Dale entered the Bath pathway at the Under-15 School Games, helping them to a third-placed finish, before quickly rising up to U17s and now U19s.
She featured in every match for England in Gibraltar and is hoping to take that success forwards to qualify for the U16 National Championships in Sunderland.
