SWANAGE CC celebrated an historic weekend, with all four of their adult sides winning on the same day for the first time.
The first XI travelled to Christchurch in Dorset Premier Two, emerging comfortable victors by 166 runs.
Swanage recovered from a poor start to post a competitive total of 240 all out, opener Mike Salmon hitting five boundaries on his way to 30, before Craig Wells (46) helped rescue the afternoon.
Charlie Dyke then outdid him with a top score of 55, which included six sixes, with a strike-rate of close to 150.
Christchurch, who had opted to bat second, struggled in reply, soon under pressure due to an amazing spell of in-swing bowling by Steve Ramsay. He claimed a double-wicket maiden in his first over, going on to post figures of 5-29.
The hosts were soon skittled for just 74, Freddie Long (3-13) also impressing with the ball.
Back at home, Swanage seconds crushed Division Four newcomers Colehill by six wickets.
The visitors started well, at 35-0 after seven overs, before eventually finding themselves all out for just 86.
That was down in no small part to Steve Kent (2-16) and Sam Marks (4-5), who took six wickets between them, before Max Nicholson (3-10) helped clear up the tail.
Swans then eased to victory with John Lewis (23) top scoring.
Swans third won by the same margin at Day’s Park against Lytchett in Division Five.
Jernimain Barry (3-33) and Sam Willcocks (3-28) saw the away side all out for 133, a target reached fairly comfortably, Tom Rutherford (54) and Michael Barry (39) producing a century stand.
The perfect Saturday was complete when the newly-formed fourth XI also racked up a victory, albeit in a far more tense affair then Swanage’s other three sides.
Travelling to Verwood in Division Six East, Swanage batted first and ended their 40 overs on 172-8, with good contributions from Josh Gould (41), Ross Carroll (32) and Michael Jones (27).
Verwood began well in reply, before their progress was halted by Carroll (4-13) and Mike Gould (2-39).
Bradley Bulpitt also impressed on debut as Swanage claimed a one-run win.
