DORSET darts star Tommy Morris progressed into the semi-finals at the latest round of action at the MODUS Super Series.
Following in the recent footsteps of county teammate Scott Mitchell, Christchurch’s Morris produced some impressive displays to reach finals night of week 11 in Portsmouth.
Morris topped Group A to book his spot, winning 12 of his 15 matches, up against the likes of Ashley Coleman, Devon Petersen and Brian Raman.
‘The Gun’ then finished second in his group on finals night behind Scott Taylor, to book a semi-final showdown with Andy Davidson, who emerged a 4-2 victor.
Outsider Davidson went on to win the week, defeating Aden Kirk in the final.
Other weekly winners set to compete in champions week include Beau Greaves, Darius Labanauskas and Neil Duff.
