A YOUTH football team in Poole have achieved an unprecedented quadruple of trophies to crown a remarkable season.
Poole Town Wessex under-15s ended their 2023-24 campaign by winning the Bournemouth League, League Cup, Hampshire County Cup and Dorset County Cup.
On top of that, Poole have now gone two whole seasons undefeated in the league.
Taking to social media, the team’s coach Wayne Crutcher said: “Quadruple. Mindset, attitudes, application, but overall turning into awesome young men that I’ve had the privilege to coach for many years.
“Not sure that season will ever be topped!”
Poole pipped Bournemouth Electric to the league title by just one point, the same team they beat in the League Cup final.
In the county cup finals, Poole overcame Pickwick Pumas and Corfe Mullen United.
