WIMBORNE Town have agreed terms with two defenders for the 2024/25 season.
Wimborne skipper Sam Jackson has committed for a second campaign, while the Magpies have also secured Harvey Wright’s services following his exit from Poole Town.
The duo will turn out for Wimborne in their return to Step 3, following their scintillating title-winning term in Southern League Division One.
Jackson scored three times and recorded seven assists in 41 games in his maiden Wimborne season.

Meanwhile, Wright made 44 appearances and scored four times for Poole in 2023/24.
Wright reunites with manager Tim Sills, the duo having worked together at Hamworthy during the 2022/23 season.
Sills told Wimborne’s official website: “We finally got our man and I couldn’t be happier to work with Harvey again. He’s a great player, great character.
“This is a big signing for us and his qualities will be crucial in helping us progress on again.”
And captain Jackson made an instant impact since joining from Bashley last summer.
“Sam came in last year and became an immediate key part of the changing room,” Sills added.
“Retaining him for this season has been key and I can’t wait to see him continue to grow in his Wimborne journey.”
The duo joins Jez Bedford, Cameron Munn, Matty Neale and Jack Lovell in committing to the New Cuthbury club this summer.
