POOLE Town have made a change of right-back ahead of the 2024/25 Southern League Premier South season, with Oakley Hanger arriving as Declan Rose departs.
It was announced last week that Rose will depart Dolphins after turning down an ‘improved contract’ offer.
The former Yeovil man made 137 appearances for the Dolphins over four seasons, scoring four goals during that time.
Fellow defender Hanger was unveiled as a new signing shortly after, with the right-back arriving at Tatnam Farm from neighbours Wimborne Town.
Hanger played a consistent role in the Wimborne side that earned promotion into Poole’s league last term, helping the Magpies lift the Southern League Division One South West title.
The 28-year-old started off with Dorchester Town, enjoying two spells at the Avenue Stadium either side of a four-year stint in the United States.
