TEENAGE Dorset prospect Will Tripcony notched his maiden ECB Southern Premier Division hundred as Bashley successfully chased down a challenging Bournemouth total to win by six wickets.
A hobbling Dan Goodey also smashed a quickfire half century as Lions' tally of 259-9 was caught.
Nineteen-year-old Tripcony underpinned the run chase with a perfectly timed 109 not out, while Goodey, effectively batting on one leg, whacked three sixes in his unbeaten 56, scored off 38 balls.
"Tripps' was a terrific knock, a chanceless and measured century,'' praised Dorset captain Luke Webb, who top scored with 89 for Bournemouth.
Schooled at Clayesmore and recently finished his fresher academic year at Cardiff Metropolitan university, Tripcony hit 14 boundaries and enjoyed handy partnerships with Jacob Gordon (24) and Josh Digby (39) as Bashley kept pace with the required rate.
Bashley were 175-4 when Digby became a second victim of Bournemouth's South African leg spin all-rounder Adrian Meyer (2-55), who earlier made a half-century.
Enter Goodey, who admitted that he only played to help Bashley (Rydal) out of their present injury predicament.
"I hadn't planned to play for another six weeks and was probably only 20 per cent fit. I bowled off to or three paces and could barely run when I batted," he laughed.
That didn't stop the Devon cricketer taking all the pressure off Tripcony by slapping three big sixes and six fours, 42 of his decisive 56 runs coming in boundaries.
Earlier, Bournemouth batted solidly with youngsters Ben Rogers (28) and James van Gool (21) providing a platform for Webb, with a 10-boundary 89, and Meyer (59) to share a century stand.
Seamer George Wilson chipped in with a 4-37 return as Bournemouth lost six wickets after reaching 200.
