GOALKEEPER Ross Flitney impressed as Wimborne Town held Weymouth to a goalless draw at the Wyatt Homes Stadium.
Veteran Flitney, 40, was signed from Eastleigh last summer and played a big role in Magpies’ promotion up to the Southern Premier Division.
And they picked up a creditable draw against Weymouth, who compete one level higher in the pyramid.

Keelan O’Connell and Tom Bearwish missed good chances to give the Terras an early lead, before Flitney denied substitute Ezio Touray and ex-Cherries defender Corey Jordan.
New signing Euan Pollock then had a chance, before Flitney was called into another good stop early in the second period, thwarting Francis Amartey.
Wimborne had chances themselves to grab a win. Dan Neild came closest, his effort saved by Gerard Benfield after being teed up by Will Fletcher.
Tim Sills’s men are next in action on Saturday, away at Bemerton Heath Harlequins.
