POOLE Town U18s are through to the next round of the FA Youth Cup after an impressive 8-2 win against Millbrook at The Test Park Sports Ground.
The young Dolphins got off to a great start as William Lippiatt gave the away side an early lead after only two minutes with a fantastic free kick that hit the underside of the bar and bounced up into the roof of the net.
It didn’t take long for Poole to score two more through a Samuel Jackson brace as they went 3-0 up after 22 minutes.
Millbrook fought back and managed to score two before half time, but Poole’s number nine Jackson ensured there was no comeback and got his hattrick with a great finish into the bottom corner to give his side a 4-2 lead at the break.
Poole put the game out of sight early in the second half thanks to goals from Jimmy Graven and an unbelievable run and finish from Jacob James to make it 6-2 on the 50th minute mark.
The Dolphins went on to score a further two goals as the game concluded with Poole comfortably progressing to the next round of the FA Youth Cup after an impressive 8-2 win.
