SWANAGE Reserves defeated Handley Sports 4-1 in a solid performance in difficult conditions.
The hosts took an early lead at Day’s Park when Peacock cooly converted a penalty, which settled the side down for a good opening 20 minutes.
Handley Sports came back into the game but were unable to test the Swanage keeper, as the home side extended their lead shortly before the break with a clever flicked goal from Spencer Grygiel.
After the interval, Swanage continued their dominance, with Grygiel getting his second of the game with a neat finish to make it 3-0.
Handley remained in the contest and pulled one goal back with a header from a corner.
But the Swanage defence stayed resilient, and Grygiel completed his hattrick with another penalty, as Swanage secured a 4-1 win.
