FORMER Cherries academy graduate Jake Scrimshaw has been praised by Terras boss Mark Molesley after coming on to score in the club's 2-1 win over Dorking Wanderers.
The AFC Bournemouth academy striker signed for the club on a free transfer at the end of last week and has already made an instant impact.
Coming off the bench on Saturday, the ex-Poole Town forward netted Weymouth's second goal which turned out to be the winner after Dorking's late consolation.

Molesley was pleased with his new striker's performance as the club secured their first win of the campaign..
Speaking to Echosport, he said: "It was a fantastic start for the player who has had a tough time of late.
Scrimshaw had been without a club having last played for the Dolphins at the back end of last season.
Since leaving AFC Bournemouth in 2022, the striker has struggled to find a long term home with short stints at Yeovil, Eastleigh, AFC Totton and Gosport prior to his last spell at Poole playing just 48 times, scoring six goals.

The striker has also had some experience at League Two sides Walsall, Newport and Scunthorpe making almost fifty appearances across all the three clubs in the division.
Molesley now believes that Weymouth is the right place for the striker to settle down and is looking forward to helping the forward rediscover his best form.
He added: "The club has a reputation to give players an opportunity to get back on the bike for want of a better phrase, and he is a player I know well and hopefully he can rediscover his love for the game with us and show what a good player he is."
