WIMBORNE Town fell to a 4-0 defeat away at AFC Totton, as the hosts returned to the top of the table.
Tim Sills made two changes to his starting 11, with Charlie Philpot making his debut in goal, and Connor Cocklin joining Harvey Wright in central defence.
The game was all action from the beginning, being played on an immaculate pitch but in difficult conditions with driving rain and gusting wind.
There was a booking for Tomasso in the first minute before the hosts forced a corner in the second which was illegally bundled into the net, with Philpot saving well from Lee with his feet in the third.
Cam Munn had the first chance for the visitors, with his low shot easily saved, before Wimborne came close to opening the scoring on 10 minutes.
Matt Neale’s delivery from a corner found Josh Carmichael, whose effort was flicked against the post by Munn, and the defence scrambled the ball away.
It was the hosts, though, who took the lead on 21 minutes.
Rose found Lee whose shot was blocked by Cocklin, only for Lee to drive the rebound into the back of the net.
Five minutes later it was two, with experienced former Premier League striker Charlie Austin rounding the keeper and slotting home.
Austin had a couple of other chances before the break, with Philpot saving well just after the half hour mark and the striker blasting out of the ground minutes later.
Wimborne started the second half with a spell of pressure, with efforts from Munn and Bedford kept out, before the two combined with the latter’s shot well saved.
But the hosts finished the game on 58 minutes, as Blair cut in from his wing to the corner of the box and firing home into the top corner for a fantastic goal.
Six minutes later it was four, as a rare, miscued clearance from Philpot went straight to Lee who lobbed the distraught keeper from 30 yards.
Wimborne manager Sills brought on club captain Scott Arnold for a late sub appearance as the visitors battled to the end, making him the club’s all-time top appearance maker.
But Wimborne couldn’t find a breakthrough and the game ended 4-0, with Totton returning to the summit of the league.
