POOLE Pirates’ SGB Cab Direct Championship Grand Final opponents have been finalised.
It will be southern track shoot-out next week as Pirates will face Oxford Cheetahs, after they saw off Scunthorpe in the semi-finals.
Oxford will host the first leg of the final on Wednesday, September 25, before Pirates host the decider on Friday, September 27.
But since that meeting the sides have been evenly matched, with Oxford snatching a narrow 45-44 win at home in the same competition.
They drew their first clash in the Championship in Oxford in June, 45-45, before the Cheetahs subjected Pirates to defeat at Wimborne Road for the first time since 2022, taking a 41-49 victory in August.
