THREE Purbeck boxers triumphed in a Portsmouth tournament last month.
The trio, from the Purbeck Power Gym, each won their fights along the coast in Hampshire.
First into the ring was 20-year-old Ryan Dwyer from Harmans Cross, against a tough, experienced opponent.
He gradually took control of the fight, using his skill and agility, and knocked the other fighter down in the second round before knocking him out with a perfect left hook in the third.
Jack Buchanan, 19 and from Swanage, was next up.
He started at a fast rate against a strong fighter, and, once the bout had settled down, Buchanan began to get on top of his hard-hitting opponent and emerged the clear winner on points.
Finally, it was the turn of Lloyd Crisp, also from Swanage, facing a fit and well-trained opponent.
The 18-year-old used his skill and power to take control of the fight, with his opposite fighter looking well beaten by the conclusion of the second round.
While Crisp faded in the third, he had done enough to secure the fight on points.
