KRAKEN Sports made the best possible start to their first outing in a national competition with a 9-0 victory over Speak Out Utd Mental Health FC.
The side, which was only formed in 2019 and is sponsored by the Kraken Group, made its bow in the FA Sunday Cup against the Cornish team last weekend.
After an even start at the County Ground in Hamworthy, the hosts opened the scoring after 21 minutes and added two more goals before the break to lead 3-0.
They then scored a further six goals in the second period to give them a comfortable 9-0 victory in the first round of the competition.
Kraken Sports’ first foray into the national knockout competition continues, and for the second round, they have been drawn against Bristol Academia away from home on Sunday, November 10.
The FA Sunday Cup is for Sunday League teams and was founded in 1964, with Trooper FC the current holders.
