THE dates for Poole Pirates’ third final of the season have been confirmed as they aim to collect the treble in 2024.
The highly anticipated KO Cup final will take place next week, with Pirates facing the side they defeated in the Cab Direct Championship Grand Final yesterday, Oxford Cheetahs.
Oxford will be keen to avenge their defeat in the Championship and will host the second leg this time around.
The first will be held at Wimborne Road on Wednesday, October 16 before a quick turnaround for the second leg on Thursday, October 17.
Both legs will begin at 7.30pm.
Another thrilling battle is expected, after Pirates overturned a 12-point first leg deficit to win in the Grand Final.
They came out as 56-34 winners on the night, completing a 95-85 aggregate victory over the Cheetahs.
Pirates will be hoping to add the KO Cup to their season’s trophy cabinet, having already collected the Championship title and the BSN Series trophy, but Oxford will be determined to spoil the party.
