HAMWORTHY United came from behind twice to beat Ash United in a thriller at the Dorset County Ground.
The visitors took the lead after just two minutes, with Kurt Greenway curling the ball into the top corner from 25 yards to beat the Hammers’ keeper Jeremy James.
But the hosts hit back through George Deem, who latched onto the end of Bailey Rowe’s squared ball to make it 1-1.
Ash United took the lead shortly before halftime, as Matt Glass chopped inside and beat two men, firing into the far corner to restore their lead.
Dan Cann sent his men out early for the second period and they saw a number of early half chances, with substitute Finley West bringing a new dimension to the Hammers attack.
The home side found their equaliser as West clipped a freekick into the box, with Deem latching onto the loose ball and shooting, with his effort saved but Rowe slotted home the follow-up.
Hamworthy got the winner again through Deem, as he was found by Callum Steamer and he capitalised on the indecision of the Ash United keeper Sam Head, lobbing him to find the net.
The hosts saw out the final ten minutes to claim all three points, moving them up to sixth in the league off the back of three consecutive wins.
