SWANAGE Croquet Club saw success at the South West UK championships, with their High Handicap team securing the title and the All Handicap First team just missing out.
The High Handicap side beat the reigning champions Llandaff of Cardiff in the closest of finals, with the sides level at 10-10 after the scheduled 20 games at neutral venue Camerton and Peasedown.
Swanage then won the doubles game decider to become the 2024 champions, after they were beaten finalists in 2023.
The All Handicap team travelled to Swindon to play arch-rivals Cheltenham, who are the home of Croquet England.
A closely contested match, Cheltenham won 11-9 to secure the title, after Swanage had beaten them in the final in 2022.
Both teams have now won the title twice, so the scene is set for the 2025 season.
