POOLE Pirates capped off a sensational 2024 season last night by winning the KO Cup to secure the treble, adding to the BSN Series and Championship titles already won.
In the second leg of the final at Wimborne Road, Pirates already had one big hand on the trophy thanks to a 57-33 first leg victory over Oxford Cheetahs away from home last week.
But it was a professional performance from the Poole one-to-seven, comfortably beating what was a patched together Oxford side with five guest riders.
Pirates ended up winning the second leg by the same margin as they won the first, 57-33, winning the cup with a 114-66 aggregate score.
The title was confirmed after just eight heats on the night at Wimborne Road, sealed with a Poole maximum thanks to Sam Hagon and Vinnie Foord.
Photographer Richard Crease was there to capture all the action and celebrations on what was a fantastic night for all involved at Poole Pirates.
