DESPITE the vast majority of games being postponed due to Storm Bert, six matches went ahead in the M.A. Hart Bournemouth League on Sunday.
Josh Taylor led the way with a hat-trick when M.A. Hart In-Excess Cup finalists New Forest Rangers blitzed Rushmere Reserves 7-1 in the fourth round of the BDFA CAMERONS CUP.
Jack Clements added a brace for the talented Division Two side with Jack Delves and Jack Clarke adding one each while Toby Aitalegbe scored Rushmere’s consolation goal.
Rangers have also progressed to the third round stage of both the Hampshire Sunday Trophy and the M.A. Hart Robbins Cup competitions.

Boscombe Celtic took over on top of DIVISION FOUR on goal difference after their 7-2 triumph over Woodville Wanderers Reserves.
Paul Iordache bagged another hat-trick whenThis took the ace marksman’s tally to twelve from five outings for Celtic. David Bratt, Manyang Kong, Callum Burt, and Kareem Soliman were the other Celtic scorers with Liam Carpenter and Aaron Towers replying for Wanderers.
Something had to give when the two unbeaten teams at the top of DIVISION FIVE went head to head and it was Camerons Reserves who opened up a three point lead at the summit when they got the better of Church Hill United 4-2.
Tommy Fulbrook, Jak Foster, Joe Sparks, and substitute Sam Cotton were the Camerons marksmen while Darren Chatten scored both United goals.
Meanwhile Mitchell Middlewick scored all three goals to give Knights the verdict 3-2 against Dexter Sports who replied through Ewan Burden and Louie Dacombe.
This was a very different outcome from when the teams met on the opening day of the season and Dexter Sports were convincing 7-1 winners.
The remaining League and Cup games were postponed due to waterlogged pitches in the wake of Storm Bert.
