ANDONI Iraola praised Tyler Adams for his ‘high energy’ in a Cherries shirt.
The American midfielder joined AFC Bournemouth in the summer of 2023 but has only made three starts for the Cherries over that spell due to long term injuries.
He has, though, started the last two games against Brentford and Brighton.
After the defeat to the Seagulls, in which Adams played 65 minutes, Iraola said: “I think he has been very good in the press.”
Iraola added: “He has played a couple of very good balls, and he played with high energy.
“I took him off not because of any precaution, but because we needed more offensive players.
“We were going to have more time in the opposite half, and we needed another type of player. But I think he has been playing well.”
